Current Fitness Plan

Hello and happy Monday! Today’s post is going to talk through my current fitness plan which I am starting today. I’m so ready to start after a few weeks of complete indulgence, which was thoroughly enjoyed!

So as you may or may not have noticed, last week I finished up in New York for good and moved home. It was most definitely bittersweet, but to be honest, I was very ready to leave New York and come home. So many people have told me how crazy I am to have moved, but to be perfectly honest, nothing is ever as it seems (especially online), so I’m completely at ease an relieved with my decision. But that’s a post and an explanation for another day…

Now that I’m home, my plan for the next few weeks is to take it easy, job hunt and just try and get back to normality here. I have a really exciting trip with my family at the end of October to an absolutely gorgeous destination so today is the day I start to get my ass in gear! I’m about to burst with excitement but I’ll also talk about that in another post – are you sensing a theme here yet? Lol! Seriously though, I’m very ready to get back into regular posting and have lots of plans for the blog in my time off. Starting with a HUGE redesign which I’m hoping to get done in the next week. So, if you stop by and notice that my site is offline, you’ll know I’m working away at it in the back end. I actually built my whole website from scratch by myself with the help of my friend Karen, so web development is actually a weird little hobby of mine.

ANYWAY, back to the point of the post! I live in Kildare, so I’m going to be starting my fitness plan with True Fitness Naas. I have heard such brilliant things about this place and the transformation photos that they have really do speak for themselves. Up until now I have been working off plans that I have gotten online, so I’m really curious to see how I get on working out in the gym that provides the plan.

I’ll be starting off with 4/5 sessions per week. I’ll be doing 3 Strength & Conditioning classes which is where you work off the plan that they provide, and 1 or 2 Body Survival classes which is a circuit training style class. I don’t have a huge amount of time since this trip is at the end of October but I really just want to start to try and get into a good routine and I think that this is my best option at the moment. Right now I’m feeling slightly fluffy after 3 weeks of enjoying the last of New York food, but in general I feel good and confident about how I look. With that said, I’m excited to start sweating every day and feeling even better! Any goal to work towards is better than nothing. It could be a holiday or even just a personal thing but it’s important to have something to help you focus.

I’m going to be sharing loads of what I’m doing on my Instagram (@niamh_osullivan) and Snapchat (niamhos21) so make sure to follow along if you are interested! I’ll also be taking before and after photos as a way to keep track of my progress. I’m not going to weigh myself or anything like that, I just want to try and feel better without any pressure on numbers.

Hope that you have a great Monday & enjoyed this post!
