I was lucky enough to have a great year this year in terms of different jobs that came my way through my blog and social channels. Each job has a different goal, message and strategy. They’re all important to me, but I have to admit that I feel a little more connected to the job’s that speak to a “greater good”.
Over the last few weeks, I’ve been working with Coca-Cola on their Designated Driver campaign which encouraged people across Ireland to give the Gift of a Lift this Christmas. It’s that time of the year when night’s out are busier than ever. Taxi’s are few and far between, and unfortunately, the roads are more dangerous than usual. It’s also such an emotional time of the year when everything we feel is heightened. Coca-Cola want to ensure everyone is kept safe and sound in the lead up to Christmas, to try and make sure that we all have our best one yet.
To put it in a nutshell, this campaign offers the generous person who takes on the role as the designated driver, two free soft drinks each night out. There are so many pubs and restaurants participating and you can find the full list here. It’s a small gesture that means a lot to those who choose to drive and get their loved ones from A to B safe and sound. Most importantly, it’s spreading a key message about road safety and how imperative it is to keep alcohol in the pubs and off the road.
It was such a privilege to work on this campaign and finish my year out on such a high, while spreading a truly important and worthwhile message. Thank you so much to Coca-Cola for choosing me to partner with!
I hope you all stay safe & sound this Christmas,
