Spicy Beef & Noodles

Ingredients

  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1 thumb of ginger, minced

  • Chilli flakes, to taste

  • 500g minced beef

  • 1 tbsp onion/salt

  • 1 tbsp of garam masala

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 chopped onion

  • 1/2 chopped red pepper

  • Handful of mangetout & baby corn

  • 3 sheets of egg noodles

  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar

  • 1-2 tbsp of sriracha

  • Sesame oil

  • Sesame seeds

  • 3 chopped spring onions

  • Large handful of chopped coriander

Instructions

  1. Fry the garlic & ginger in sesame oil, and after about 3 minutes, add in the chilli flakes.

  2. Add in the minced beef and fry until browned on a high heat.

  3. Sprinkle in the garam masala, onion/garlic salt, soy sauce & honey. Mix well & then remove from the heat and set aside in a separate bowl.

  4. Fry the onion & pepper for about 5 minutes until just softened.

  5. Then add in the mangetout & baby corn. Fry for another 5 minutes.

  6. Reduce the heat & then add back in the beef. Add in the dark soy sauce, 2 tbsp of regular soy sauce, the rice wine vinegar & 1-2 tbsp of sriracha, to taste.

  7. Then add the noodles & mix well noodles.

  8. Drizzle over some extra sesame oil & sesame seeds, followed by the spring onion & coriander.

  9. Serve & enjoy!
